Israel.txt Did GOD make a distinction between animals and human beings? Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. "Genesis 3:6, When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it had a pleasing appearance and that the tree was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her; and he ate. 7. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized that they were naked. So they sewed fig leaves together to make themselves loincloths. I find it interesting that "Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible with Greek and Hebrew Dictionary" does not have a Hebrew word for "loincloths"! This appears to be a human assumption of what happened in the the beginning! After Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the "tree of knowledge of Good and Evil," their eyes were opened and when they looked around, they saw that all if the animals had something they did not have! What was it? Do you see what the animals have that the human beings do not have? "In GOD WE Trust." Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu) 1:15 .... Says Adonai, 16. "I will pronounce my judgments against them for all their wickedness in abandoning me, offering incense to their gods and worshiping what their own hands made." How is the "Iron Dome" working out, and all of the planes and bombs? With their limited resources, Adam and Eve proceeded to manufacture the part that the animals had, that they did not have. Braiding fig-leaves produced a poor replica of the animal's tails! They were not too happy with the results their own hands had made. They were nothing like GOD's handy work! "Genesis 3:21 GOD made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them." GOD let Adam and Eve know the reason they did not have "tails", was that they were not "animals", but that they were "Human Beings"! To further illustrate this situation, GOD permanently gave the (Hebrew) "Katnot Or","Tunics of Light", one for Adam and one for Eve. A tunic is an enveloping membrane or layer of body tissue enveloping an organ . In human beings, this is signified by the pubic hair growth that starts at puberty. The hair is not a solid opaque object but can be seen through, (lets light pass), and is not designed to totally hide what lies underneath. When GOD does something it is done right! Another sign that they were at puberty is the fact GOD told Eve she would experience pain during child birth. Gen. 3:21 Kat not' Google search: Hebrew "kat not" in Hebrew typically refers to "tunics or garments, often long and decorated", notably appearing in Genesis when God makes "katnot or" (garments of skin/light) for Adam and Eve, signifying a divine covering beyond simple clothing, contrasting with their fig-leaf "armor". Biblical Garments (Genesis): The most prominent use is in Genesis 3:21, where GOD makes "katnot or" [tunics of light] for Adam and Eve after the fall. "Katnot" is plural. * "katnot": Plural of "kuttonet" (tunic/garment). * "Or": Can mean "skin" or "light", suggesting divine, radiant garments, not just animal skins.
